domains

Here's a quick run through of the domain hosting that's offered and what you get.

type of site;

I would prefer graphic/resource/design sites (you may also have a blog, reviews, competitions, and so on!) or review sites, award sites, et cetera, for graphic/resource/design sites.

disk space;

At first, domains are given 500 megabytes of space. This is a tremendous amount of space, trust me, and I sincerely doubt that you will ever use up all of this space.

However, if/when you need more space, we can talk about it and I will give you more space. Honestly, don't worry about this.

bandwidth;

Everyone in the network just shares my bandwidth. Don't worry about this.

ftp account;

Each site is given an FTP account. If there is more than one person owning/updating the site, I can give out multiple FTP accounts or you can share an account.

The username will be your site name according to your domain, while your password can be chosen by you or I can generate one for you.

Only you and I will know the log in info for your FTP account; I won't give it out to anyone else. It's your choice if you choose to or not, but I suggest not doing so.

uploading media;

You will be allowed to upload images, videos, music files, et cetera, to your FTP account. Use your judgement on the content of these files.

portfolio;

Optional. Optional. Optional.
If you would like a portfolio, we can set up a subdomain on your site as your portfolio if you'd like - or you can just have it on your site. Seperate portfolios are fun, though!

mysql databases;

Optional. Optional. Optional.
If you need a MySQL database (or more than one!) just let me know and you'll get it.

e-mais;

Optional. Optional. Optional.
You can have up to 15 e-mail accounts. You can use a website to access it, Microsoft Outlook, Windows Mail, or a Mac version.

You can have e-mail accounts @your domain or @skylineillusions.net or @lead-sails.org

cutenews;

Optional. Optional. Optional.

I can install CuteNews for you, if you'd like. The "security scare" that CuteNews had (over two years ago...) due to unsecure coding has been fixed. If you see a hosting site say that CuteNews is not allowed for security reasons, then that host hasn't done their research.

fanupdate;

Optional. Optional. Optional.

I can install FanUpdate for you, if you'd like. It does not give you as much control as CuteNews does, and personally, I prefer CuteNews.
